What does it take to make you a successful farmer?

Hi guyss!! What's up? How you're doing? I hope you guys are doing incredibly well. Ok, here is the thing. In this entry, i would like to say sth more towards agriculture. For my lovely readers, i hope you will do enjoy my entry, And do follow me if you would like some more marvelous entries from me in the future.

First and foremost, in assuring the successfulness in agricultural food production, the presence of available innovation in modern technology is important. The technology for the growing of the crop must have been well established and easily empowered by workers. An easy-to-learn-and-apply technology is a must so that even the latest one can be easily learned and applied in a short period of time.

Secondly, physical factor is also an indicator for a victorious agricultural food production. Local climate is vital as for different varieties of crops, they require a specific weather condition and certain amount of rain per month to grow well. The same thing goes to the geographical factor in the livestock industry. Therefore, in choosing a location, physical factor must play a big role so that achievements can be achieved.

Moreover, the successfulness of agricultural food production also depends on its respective potential to resist to pests and diseases. Regardless of the purpose of farming, it is important to be able to select a crop that varies with wide resistance to harmful and destroying pests and diseases. A crop, livestock and even aquatic animals that are really strong in fighting diseases usually bring back a lot of money instead of lost.

In addition, the aid from the government plays a big role in this field as well. For an instance, the initiative of raising significant amount of organizations such as FELCRA, FELDA and RISDA will help farmers a lot in managing a high potential plantation such as palm. The formation of special agencies lends farmer a great hand financially and physically. They are FAMA (1965), MARDI (1969), MADA (1970) and the list goes on.

Last but not least, to achieve an absolute success in this field, another point that is as significance as the rest is marketability and profitability. Both depends and affects each other indirectly. Thus, for those who want to engage in agricultural food production industry, one must ensure his financial sustainability and stability before stepping one foot ahead on this field. In general, the selected crop or livestock must be high yielding and profitable as well as being a wanted product in the market nowadays.

Hello! and Assalamualaikum. I am Ridzuan bin Bahran, I'm 18 and now studying at UPM Kampus Bintulu, Sarawak in Diploma of Animal Health and Production. I came all the way long from my hometown, Melaka, to nowhere but here in Bintulu, furthering my 2nd semester studying in this particular course. I met a lot of new friends from varieties of ethnics here, and we are all going along really well as course mates, roommates, and junior-senior bonding thingy.
